Imagine video conferencing with your friends and family. How would that make a difference to you and your loved ones? You might think this is out of your reach or that it's too complicated and expensive.
There is a revolutionary new technology called the video phone. You can now do three way video conferencing easily and cheaper than what you would typically spend for your regular, local long distance telephone plan.
Set Up:
There is nothing technical about setting this phone up. Simple instructions are included.
Video phone comes with internet and power cables as well as a telephone handset.Plug handset into telephone port on the side of the video phone.Plug video phone into a high speed internet connection such as a modem or router.Connect phone to a standard 110 volt wall receptacle with power cord.Allow approximately 5 minutes for unit to identify its IP address and authenticate.Because the telephone number "resides" in the phone, as long as you have a high speed internet connection and a power source, you can be video conferencing in live streaming video (over 30 frames per second) from anywhere in the world.
The dimensions of this phone are about the same as a typical desk top telephone (about 9" x 9" x 3"). It's very light weight so it's portable. Stick it in your suitcase and go. There are no issues crossing borders at airports.
How to make a Conference Call on the Video Phone:
Dial number of first party and wait for them to connect to you.Push conference call button (which puts first party on "hold")Dial number of second party and wait for them to connect to you.Push conference call button again (which connects in all three parties).Calls can be made to and from over 60 countries.
Visual Display of all 3 Parties:
Once all 3 parties are connected, the 7" high def screen will display a live video picture of each person on the call. Just the other day, I had a video conference with my daughter in Sweden, my friend in Arizona and myself in Canada.
Conference on wide screen TV:
Video conferencing on a TV is exactly the same. Now you're viewing your parties on TV instead of on the phone.
Connect your video phone to the TV with a 3 cable connector (2 audio and 1 video)Using keypad and on-screen instructions, select "use external video display".Proceed to dial phone numbers in conjunction with conference button.Imagine having breakfast on the wide screen TV with your grandchild, your children, your loved ones who are all 5,000 miles apart in three different parts of the world.
The video picture is high definition and is lip synched. There is no delay between the picture and the sound.
Once you have experienced this new way of communicating, you will never want to live without it.
Expand your world and start video conferencing.
